Hello Everyone!!
Happy Halloween!!! E and I went to a costume party at the Officer's Mess this past Friday night here in Kingston, ON. I went as the Evil Queen from "Once Upon A Time" and E went as Rumplestilkin.

I love the fabrics and embellishments. E helped me pick them all out and I think he did a great job. I never worked with beaded trim, boning for the collar and eyelets in fabric. I had a great time putting the costume together and I am already planning our next years costumes. The only thing I regret is not making E's costume. Next year, I am starting early LOL.

I hope you all have a safe and fun Halloween!!!
I am linking up with these parties and TCB.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to our family and friends back in New York and to everyone else who had been affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The costumes are awesome! I love yours. :)

Lovely! Great job! :-) I love Halloween ! It is so much fun! I bet you had a great time at the party. I know I would wearing such a fabulous costume as this!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely put a lot of great details into your costumes. Reminds me of the days when I would stay up all night making costumes for my kids. I mean, seriously, I made a Jasmine, fully lined costume that was more intricate than my wedding dress! But, I miss those days. I digress ... great work and it looks like you had a blast!
ReplyDeleteWow. You did a really good job making the evil queen costume.. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your sweet thoughts at craftionary. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day Alisha!
Great customes..Greetings from Massachusetts. Happy Halloween!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Great Job! Now you will be hooked. I have been making costumes for myself and my kids for years and now that the kids are grown, this year I made a costume for my husband. We were amazing as Gothic Vampires. We should trade for next year and save ourselves the work! (but it's fun, right?) Here's a link if you want to check them out. http://lifebeginsatfortysomething.blogspot.com/2012/10/boo-to-you-spooky-costume-reveal.html
