I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas day with their loved ones. I just wanted to give you all a quick update. I spoke with my MIL and she loved the apron I made for her. My FIL even told me that it was a great accomplishment for my first apron. My brother also loved the pillows I made for him. I received wonderful gifts from my MIL. She knitted me a beautiful swing jacket. When I tried it on I felt like I was transformed back into the 1940's. I loved it. Also, she gave me one of those big recipe books that you get at Sam's or Costco and she filled out a page or two of every section with family recipes. That meant the world to me and I was thrilled. I was crying looking at every recipe and E telling me that some of these recipes were and are not ones that leave her side.
E was very thoughtful and spoiled me as usual. Of course, I was the same with him. We always try to give gifts to each other that enhances each others hobbies. He has his music, art and wood carving and he loves seeing me create with cardstock, sewing and mod podge. Holly and Patch loved their gifts as well.
Have a wonderful evening!!
