These was the first pillows I ever sewed. I made them with my Mom when she came to visit us from NY to Fort Belvoir, VA. We both had a blast. She is a great teacher and very crafty too. Thanks Mom!!

Thank you for visiting me and signing up to follow. You won't believe it, but I have that very same fabric and made pillows and a duvet cover. I still love the fabric and have the pillows, but the duvet cover ripped and I've replaced it. I really like the edging on your pillows!
ReplyDeleteYour welcome. Thank you for visiting my blog. Really? I got the fabric at Walmart. I am finding out now that some Walmart's (like around in southern GA) aren't selling fabric anymore. So, now I just go to Joanne's. As I mentioned in my post, my Mom helped me with the pillows and suggested the edging. Thanks again for visiting. Come back soon :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat pillows! And how awesome to have your mom come and help with getting them done. I love, love, love that I was able to learn so much from my mom (a real amazing crafter too). And do so miss being able to pick up the phone and just talk or ask her any thing! (She has been gone for the past 5 years). But so thankful and blessed to have so many of her wonderful handcrafted creations.
ReplyDeleteHope you have many, many years creating beautiful projects and sharing with your mom :o)
Blessings & Aloha!
