Another reason I have been so busy with the cleaning and re-organizing is that I will be working this Summer as a part-time teacher's aide/assistant for my sewing instructor Sue. She approached me and asked if I would be interested in helping her out. This program/camp for children is called Activ8 and they have all different types of classes that children can take. I am excited to learn from Sue how to teach sewing to others. I will be able to utilize this experience when we retire (down the road) up in the Adirondacks and there I will be able to teach sewing to Military Spouses, children, etc.
I will be blogging about my experience and will be able to accomplish a lot of other projects I would like to tackle this summer. Also, I will be starting to plan out what I will be making for the holidays this year (ie. gifts, home decor, etc.).
Have a wonderful evening!!
Thanks for the update! I was just a tad worried :)
ReplyDeleteOooooh, the ingrown toenail. Yikes! I get those too! From years of wearing paddock boots!
What did they do for it at the ER? I bet it is painful!
You are going to be very busy this summer. But, everything seems perfect for you :)
I am having a giveaway to the Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It would be a nice weekend getaway for you and E, if you want to enter!
