Vintage Apron Gift for our Sponsor

Hello Everyone,

I completed the final gift that I wanted to make for our sponsor and my friend Natalie. She loves to cook and the color blue, so I decided to make her a vintage looking apron for when she is busy cooking in the kitchen. I didn't use a pattern. I just cut the fabric to size and hemmed the edges and got creative. I found the prettiest shade of blue with white polka dots at Joann's. I added a pocket on the right side of the apron, used a pretty ribbon so she can tie it around her waist and embroidered her name on the bottom.

I wanted to embellish the ribbon a little bit, so I used an heirloom stitch that was on my machine to pretty up the ribbon.

I then used a pretty script font to embroider her name.

I am linking up with these wonderful parties, Remodelaholic, More the Merrier and TCB.

I am going to start another project today...stay tuned!!

Have a great day!!
